Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how North Bay Pros ("North Bay Pros," "we," "us") collects, uses and shares personal information through northbaypros.com and the other websites in the North Bay Pros network (marinwaterdamage.com, marinroofrepair.com, marinmoldremoval.com and northbaypros.com), and by phone and text at (628) 336-1777. North Bay Pros is a service of North Bay Pros.
Who we are
North Bay Pros is a referral and marketing service. We connect homeowners with independent local service providers. We aren't a contractor and don't perform home services. You can reach us by phone or text at (628) 336-1777.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, phone number, ZIP code or address, the service you need, details about your situation, and anything else you choose to tell us through a form, a call or a text.
- Calls and texts: if you call or text us, we receive your phone number and the content of the call or message. Calls may be recorded and transcribed, including by an automated answering assistant, so that we can route your request accurately and improve our service. If you don't want to be recorded, you can submit a form or text us instead.
- Technical information: like most websites, our hosting provider automatically processes information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and the date and time of your visit, mainly for security and to operate the site. When you submit a form, we store the page you submitted it from and your browser's user-agent string.
- We don't knowingly collect information from children under 16.
How we use information
- To connect you with independent local providers who can help with your request
- To contact you about your request by phone call or text
- To operate, secure and improve our websites and services
- To keep records of requests and consents, and to comply with law
Want a local pro to take a look? It's free for homeowners and there's no obligation.
How we share information
- With independent service providers. When you submit a request, call or text, we share your contact information and request details with one or more independent local providers who serve your area, so they can contact you. Those providers are separate businesses with their own privacy practices.
- With service vendors who help us operate (for example website hosting, data storage, phone, call-answering and messaging services). They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- For legal reasons, if required by law, or to protect rights, safety and security.
- In a business transfer, if North Bay Pros or a network website is sold or transferred.
We don't sell personal information for money. Because sharing your request with independent providers is how our service works, some of that sharing could be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under California law. You can opt out as described below, but that may mean we can't connect you with a provider.
Your choices: calls and texts
By submitting a form and checking the consent box, you agree that North Bay Pros and independent local providers may contact you about your request by phone call or text, including by automated means, at the number you provide. Consent isn't a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also ask us to stop contacting you by calling (628) 336-1777.
Your California privacy rights
If you're a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you rights including:
- Right to know what personal information we've collected about you and how we've used and shared it
- Right to delete personal information we've collected, subject to exceptions
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information
- Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information
- Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information (we don't use sensitive information for purposes that would require this)
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights
To make a request, call or text (628) 336-1777 and tell us what you'd like to do. We'll verify your request by confirming information that matches our records, such as the phone number you used. You can use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof of authorization. The California Attorney General's CCPA page has more information about your rights.
